Terms of Service

The service

AI Fallout hosts two kinds of content: real first-person accounts about AI impact, and clearly labeled fictional or speculative future dispatches.

The platform is not a news organization, legal service, mental health service, employment service, or emergency reporting channel.

Eligibility and accounts

• You must be old enough to use online services in your location and at least 13 years old.
• You are responsible for keeping your Google account and AI Fallout session secure.
• You may not impersonate another person, organization, public figure, moderator, admin, or AI Fallout representative.
• You may not create or use accounts to evade restrictions, manipulate rankings, harass others, or automate engagement.

Google Sign-In

AI Fallout uses Google Sign-In for authentication. Signing in with Google does not mean Google sponsors, endorses, reviews, or controls AI Fallout.

You must also accept AI Fallout's Terms and Privacy Policy before using write features such as submitting stories, commenting, reacting, voting, or reporting.

Real stories and fictional dispatches

• Real stories must be submitted in good faith as personal accounts, observations, or experiences.
• Fictional, satirical, speculative, or future-facing stories must be clearly presented as fiction or future dispatches.
• Do not present fiction as a real event.
• Do not fabricate a first-person real story.
• Do not use AI Fallout to falsely accuse private people, employers, schools, or organizations of misconduct.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit, subject to the rights you grant AI Fallout to operate and display the service.

By submitting content, you grant AI Fallout a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, publish, distribute, excerpt, moderate, adapt for formatting/accessibility, and promote that content in connection with the platform.

• You are responsible for the content you submit.
• You must have the rights needed to submit the content.
• You should not submit private personal data, confidential information, trade secrets, or content that could put someone at risk.
• You understand that published content may be viewed, shared, indexed, quoted, or archived by others.

Anonymous submissions

If you submit anonymously, AI Fallout will not intentionally show your account name or email on the public story page. Anonymous does not mean unknown to AI Fallout. Admins may access account information for moderation, legal, security, and safety purposes.

Comments, reactions, votes, and reports

• Comments should respond to the story or discussion in good faith.
• Reactions and votes are community signals, not proof that a story is true or false.
• Reports should be used to flag privacy issues, harassment, spam, fiction presented as real, scams, threats, or other policy concerns.
• Do not weaponize reports to silence users you disagree with.
• Do not use comments, reactions, votes, or reports for spam, scams, manipulation, harassment, or synthetic engagement.

Prohibited conduct

• Doxxing, threats, stalking, targeted harassment, or encouraging harm.
• Spam, ads, scams, phishing, malware, deceptive links, or promotional abuse.
• Autonomous AI-agent submissions, fabricated real stories, synthetic engagement, or coordinated manipulation.
• Illegal content or content that encourages illegal acts.
• Sexual content involving minors or any exploitative content.
• Private personal data, medical records, financial records, login credentials, or confidential workplace/school information.
• Impersonation, false affiliation, fake official status, or misleading use of verified/premium signals.
• Attempts to bypass rate limits, security controls, moderation actions, or account restrictions.
• Unauthorized scraping, bulk extraction, resale, dataset building, or model training use of AI Fallout content.

Moderation

AI Fallout may review, approve, reject, hide, remove, label, demote, lock comments on, restrict access to, or otherwise moderate content and accounts at its discretion.

Stories are manually reviewed before publication. Comments may publish immediately but can be hidden or locked after review. Moderation decisions may consider reports, privacy risk, safety risk, legal risk, story classification, spam patterns, and platform integrity.

• We may restrict a user from publishing, commenting, reporting, appealing, or accessing the account when needed.
• We may preserve moderation records even after content is hidden or an account is deleted where needed for safety, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.
• We are not obligated to publish or keep any specific content available.

No professional advice

AI Fallout content is user-generated or editorially created. It may be incomplete, emotional, fictional, inaccurate, or not independently verified. Do not rely on AI Fallout as legal, financial, employment, medical, safety, psychological, or professional advice.

Intellectual property

AI Fallout, its branding, interface, logos, design, and platform code are owned by AI Fallout or its licensors. You may not copy, misuse, or imply affiliation with AI Fallout without permission.

Scraping, AI training, and automated access

Public pages are intended for human reading, normal search indexing, and ordinary sharing. You may not scrape, crawl, copy, harvest, bulk download, resell, create datasets from, or use AI Fallout content for model training or similar automated extraction without written permission.

Service availability

AI Fallout may change, suspend, discontinue, limit, or remove parts of the service at any time. We may have downtime, bugs, data loss, moderation delays, or feature changes, especially during early launch.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

AI Fallout is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AI Fallout disclaims warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AI Fallout will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, reputation, revenue, business, or opportunity arising from use of the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will be posted on this page. Where appropriate, users may be required to accept updated Terms before using write features.
